A General introduction to the Clone Detector Software

Product Launch Presentation On September 27th, 1999, Semantic Designs launched the Cobol version of the CloneDR based on the Design Maintenance System (DMS). This software product allows an organization to automatically Detect and Remove clones (redundant/replicated code) from their software base. This leads to a 8-15% reduction in the size of the code base which can result in big savings in both manpower and resources for any organization that maintains code.
